Meet Elouise. This is her story…
Elouise is the youngest daughter of Bernard and Evangeline. Years ago, her father was an OFW until he got sick and suffered from heart disease that did not allow him to go back to work. He was bed-ridden for some time now and needs medication and surgery. Her mother washes clothes and tries to work whenever her time may allow as she needs to look after her husband. Her older brother works as a Barangay Tanod (i.e., a local peace and security officer) while her older sister works as a factory worker. Their total family income is not enough to help with their current situation.
Elouise is a jolly child, with a very positive outlook in life. She may be the youngest among the scholars but she shows maturity that you would observe when you speak to her. She dreams of becoming a doctor to be able to help the poor people avail of her care and attention.
