Rio is being raised by a single parent, Marjorie. Her parents separated even before she was born. To be able to fulfil her needs, her mother helps with her grandparents’ small ïhaw-ihaw (i.e., local barbecue) business. However, she is currently seeking a stable job due to the low profit of their business.
Even at a very young age, Madeleine has a very beautiful dream for the future: to become a Policeman soon and to get the family out of poverty.
